Entertaining Hope

In May 1987 Richard Briddon (then studying Humanities at Teesside Poly) organised a Children's poetry competition for the NSPCC as part of  Entertaining Hope. It was judged by Literature staff at the Poly- Sue Reid, Bruce Ingraham. Richard Briddon was also co-organising the Middlesbrough Writers Workshop at the Poly and became involved in Outlet / Write Around before launching Paranoia Press.
